Introduction : The name of our village is Ramchandrapur. It is in the district of Comilla. It is an old Muslims. The rest are Hindus. Most of the villagers are farmers. Some are businessmen and service.
Institutions: There are a high school and two primary schools and a college in our village. There are
away from the district headquarters.
Population and Occupation : The population of our village is over four thousand. Most of them are
holders. Few of the villagers are fishermen and carpenters. There are some educated men in our villa
Fish, milk, meat and vegetables are available here in plenty. also a post office and a big market here. There are tow pacca mosques and a madrasha in the village.
Communication: The communication of our village either by road or by river is very good. It is well
communicated with the district head quarter and the thana head quarter. The Titas connects our village
with Homna and Meghna.
Cultural Activities: Our village is famous for various cultural activities like Jatra', Jarigan, the boat race
and the bullock race etc.
Conclusion: The people of our village are simple and honest. They live in peace and happiness. We are
